West Homestead K-8 Center is excited to introduce the new 5000 Role Models, as the organization strives to provide minority boys with hope as well as the vision of greatness to emulate in their everyday lives and form a fraternal aura of brotherly love throughout Miami-Dade County. The young boys are full of potential but are at-risk because of negative behaviors and/or socio-economic conditions they confront. The program will serve those who in need of positive male role models.
West Homestead K-8 Center had its 5000 Role Models debut on September 15, 2014, during the school’s Title I Parent Meeting and Open House. The program consists of intermediate and middle school aged boys, ranging from grades 4-7.
